Watson-Brown Foundation Scholarships
Students in Georgia can apply to win $5,000. Scholarships are renewable. High school seniors or undergraduate students may apply. Students must plan to attend a four-year college. Students must maintain a 3.0 GPA to renew the scholarship.
With Grace Scholarship Foundation
Members of Georgia ASID can apply to win a $3,000 scholarship. Applicants must show chapter and community involvement and academic success. They must be in their junior or senior year of college. They also must be enrolled in interior design or architecture programs.
Georgia Fire Sprinkler Scholarship
High school seniors in Georgia may apply to the scholarship essay contest. They must plan to study at a college, university or certified trade school in the United States. Applicants can win $1,500.
Georgia College Presidential Scholarship
High school seniors may apply. They must complete an Early Action application for admission to Georgia College. A minimum 3.5 GPA is required and 1310 on the SAT or 28 on the ACT. Students can win up to $6,000 per year.
Georgia Association of Conservation District Scholarship
High school seniors or undergraduate students may apply. They must have a minimum 2.75 GPA. One student will win $1,500. Applicants must be majoring in, or plan to major in a soil and water conservation-related area.
High school seniors can apply for this merit scholarship. They must plan to attend college or university in Georgia. They must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
High school seniors in Georgia may apply to win $1,000-$1,500. They must show a financial need. They also must have a minimum 2.75 GPA and plan to attend college or university.
Georgia Tuition Equalization Grant Program
Undergraduate students at private colleges in Georgia may apply. They can win $475 per semester.
Two students from Southeastern states, including Georgia, can win $1,500. Current college undergraduate students may apply. They must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. They also must have completed an actuarial science internship.
GFB Foundation Scholarship for Agriculture
Students studying in an agriculture-related field may apply. They must show strong leadership skills. They also must plan to attend college or university at an accredited college or university in Georgia. Applicants must be in an agriculture program. They must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. They can win between $1,500-$3,000.
Lettie Pate Whitehead Scholarship
Female Christian students with financial need may apply. They must be high school seniors or college freshman/sophomores/juniors. They must attend college or university in one of several states, including Georgia. Applicants should have an interest in health education.
Ty Cobb Educational Foundation
Undergraduate students in Georgia with financial need may apply. They must have completed at least 30 semester hours and have a minimum B average.
Woodrow Wilson Georgia Teaching Fellowship
Students who majored in STEM-related fields may apply. They must have an interest in teaching in low-income Georgia schools. They can win a $10,000 stipend for a Master’s program at one of two participating universities.
Georgia Mining Foundation Scholarship
High school seniors can apply to win up to $1,000. Applicants must be attending school in a county where the company maintains operations. They must reside in Georgia. They also must score a minimum of 1300 on the SAT/19 on the ACT. Their high school average must be 85% or higher.
Low-income high school seniors may apply to this need-based scholarship. Scholarships are from $4,000-$20,000. Applicants must have a 3.5 GPA or higher. They also must show leadership skills.
The Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation Scholarships
Two applicants can win $1,000 academic scholarships. Applicants must pursue a bachelor’s or master’s degree. They must study historic preservation, history, architecture, archeology, urban planning or related fields. They must attend in-state colleges. They also must take on preservation projects within their local communities.
Georgia Association for Nursing Education Scholarships
Three students can win $500. Two scholarships are for associate or bachelor’s students pursuing RN licenses. One scholarship awards advanced practice nurses finishing their Master’s of Science in Nursing. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a CCNE or ACEN accredited nursing school. They must have completed at least one year of study and have a minimum GPA of 2.5. They also must plan to practice nursing in Georgia after graduation.
“547” John E. McGlamry Memorial Scholarship
Graduating high school seniors may apply to win $1,000. They must be the children of active or retired Georgia State Troopers. They must plan to enroll in an accredited college or university. They must write an essay explaining what wisdom, justice and moderation means to them.
Georgia Public Safety Memorial Grant
Children of public safety officers or first responders killed/disabled in the line of duty may apply. Applicants must attend a state college, university, or technical school. Students may receive up to $18,000 per year.
The GSCPA awards different scholarships to Georgia students majoring in accounting. Applicants must be a college junior or senior with financial need. They must study accounting or business administration and have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
At-risk high school seniors with financial need may apply. They must have lived in Georgia for 2 years. They also must have a GPA between 2.0-2.9. They must write a personal essay on how they have made a positive difference.
REACH Georgia Scholarship Program
This need-based scholarship and mentorship program awards students with academic promise. Students must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and be eligible for Free or Reduced Lunch. The student should have a clean record with less than two minor infractions. They should also have no out-of-school suspensions and have a strong attendance record. The applicant must meet Georgia residency requirements. Participants receive a mentor who helps them stay on track. They may receive financial support of up to $2,500 per year for four years.
Scholarship for Engineering Education (SEE) Program
Georgia students enrolled in an engineering program at Mercer University may apply. They must agree to work for a period of time in Georgia after graduating. They must have a minimum 2.5 GPA.
KASF Scholarship – Southern Region
Full-time students in Georgia may apply. They must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. They must show financial need.
Female students with financial need may apply. The scholarship aims to motivate female students to return to school. They must be at least 25 years old and residents of Georgia. They must have community service experience.
Georgia Thespians Achievement Scholarship
Georgian actors and actresses may apply to win $2,000. They must show promise in areas of performance or technical expertise.
High school seniors or college students may apply to win $5,000 or $3,500, respectively. They must write an essay about a historical African-American who has inspired them.
