Spouses of Coast Guard personnel are eligible to win a $2,000 scholarship. They award ten scholarships every year.
Spouses of Air Force active duty, Air National Guard, or Air Force Reserve members may apply. Applicants must be pursuing an associate, undergraduate, or graduate degree. Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society
Spouses of active duty or retired sailors and marines may apply. Applicants must be studying towards their undergraduate degree, technical, or vocational school. Scholarships range from $500-$3,000 per year.
The Air Force Aid Society awards at least 10 Merit Scholarships every year. Children and spouses of active duty and retired Airmen may apply. The scholarship is for $5,000. Applicants must show strong academic performance.
Spouses of active duty, reservist, and military personnel may apply. Applicants must be pursuing a bachelor degree, non-degree license, or certificate program. Scholarship awards are up to $3,000.
This scholarship awards spouses of active duty service members and veteran service members. Applicants must be pursuing a full-time undergraduate or graduate degree. Scholarships are around $10,000.
Veterans United Foundation Scholarship
Spouses of a deceased service member or veteran may apply. Applicants must be pursuing an associate, bachelor, graduate, post-graduate or doctoral degree program. They can win a scholarship up to $50,000.
Spouses of service members who lost a limb or died while on active duty may apply. Applicants must be studying in an undergraduate program, technical, or trade school. They may receive up to $5,000.
NMCCG Enlisted Dependent Spouse Scholarship
The Navy Wives Club of America awards this scholarship. Spouses of Navy, Marine Corps or Coast Guard members may apply. Two scholarships are awarded. They may use the money towards a college degree or vocational school.

Council of College and Military Educators Scholarship
Spouses of active duty and veteran service members are eligible for a $1,000 scholarship. Spouses must be currently enrolled in a degree program. Applicants must submit two letters of recommendation and an essay.
Chief Petty Officer Scholarship Fund
This scholarship is for the children or spouses of an active duty, retired, reserve or deceased Chief Petty Officer of the United States Navy. To be eligible, they must be pursuing an associate’s or bachelor’s degree.
This scholarship fund awards veterans who have received the Purple Heart. Spouses of a member who received the Purple Heart posthumously may also get money. Award amounts vary. Applicants must have a GPA of at least 2.5 and submit a 1,200-1,500 essay.
Service members may transfer their remaining post 9/11 GI Bill benefits to a spouse. To transfer, service members must have at least six years of military service. They also must agree to serve for four years after the benefits are transferred.
Survivors’ and Dependents’ Educational Assistance (DEA)
Military spouses of disabled Veterans or deceased veterans are eligible for this scholarship. They may receive up to 45 months of education benefits. They may use the money towards an undergraduate degree, certificate program, or on-the-job training.
