Scott Community Center, Inc. Book Scholarship 2019

The Scott Community Center, Inc. is pleased to offer a need-based, $500 book scholarship available to a graduating high school senior who will pursue post-secondary education in an accredited two-year, trade or certification program. Candidates must have a GPA of 2.0 or higher, reside in the metro-Detroit area, plan to enroll in one of the following programs in the 2019-2020 academic year: Two-year degree Program – Associate degree, or two-year degree offered at a community college or university that offer these degree options; Trade School – Vocational school to build technical skills while training for a specific type of job, such as electrician or dental hygienist; Certification Program – Professional designation offered by an accredited agency, assuring qualification to perform a job or task.
