Make Yourself a Meme Scholarship

Humor can really help bring the stress level down - that's one of the reasons memes are so popular! They are also lots of fun to create and share. That’s why Future Minds Fund is offering the $1500 “Make Yourself a Meme Scholarship!”

To apply for the scholarship, please follow all of the guidelines below:

• Create and share a social media post on one of your social media channels. Your post must include your OWN original meme using a photo where YOU are in the shot. Note: If you yourself are not in the photo, your entry will not be considered. 
• Add your own original text overlaying the photo, styled in a way that is similar to other memes you’ve seen online. 
• The text and meaning of your meme must relate to ONE of these topics relevant to students:

-Paying for college / scholarships / financial aid / student debt

-Applying for college

-Student life

-Career / jobs / internships

-Going to school during the pandemic

• When deciding what text to write to overlay the image, be witty, creative, funny, sarcastic, etc. If you are, you’ll boost your chances of earning the scholarship!
• Tag your post @futuremindsfund @scholarshipowl and hashtag it #makeyourselfamemescholarship 
• Refrain from use of language or imagery that might be deemed offensive - entries that do not abide by this guideline will unfortunately not be considered for the scholarship.
• IMPORTANT: Make sure your social media profile and post are public so we can see and share your post!
