"I am Jacoby DeLury, I plan to pursue business and finance at the University of Oregon. I come from a rural town where education wasn’t always entirely popular but I always made it a priority, in the pursuit of bettering myself. When I found out I won I felt hopeful. I mean that, really. College apps is overwhelming, as are scholarships. So many scholarships with so little time, finally getting the notification that I’d won was like light at the end of the tunnel. It inspired me to believe that with enough effort I could finance college. I’m insanely thankful to ScholarshipOwl, without it I’d never have even HEARD about this scholarship, much less apply to it. ScholarshipOwl streamlined the process, allowing me time to focus on other tasks while easing my burden. So, with all that being said, I’d describe this experience as hopeful.
