Top 5 Netflix Shows
Picking a new Netflix show is tough these days, right? You want them to have substance, that something extra special, and preferably to have more than a few seasons. We get it, it’s a true commitment.

Add to that the fact that you’ve just submitted your scholarship applications, and the bar is set high. Why? Well, you don’t want to be thinking about and checking maniacally the status of your application every 2 minutes.

First of all, relax knowing that we will send you an email and notification as soon as there’s an update for your scholarship.

Secondly, for taking your mind off of the applications, check out the list of 5 Netflix shows we’ve compiled for you. They’ll have you glued to your seat/sofa/lazy bag. So here they are:

    1.One Tree Hill

If, by some miracle, you still haven’t seen the OTH, you’re missing out big time, and now’s the perfect time to make up for it! The show spans over 9 seasons and starts off with half-brothers Lucas and Nathan’s rivalry, along with their (girl)friends Haley, Peyton, and Brooke. Intrigues, failed relationships, real villains, going from high school to college to adult life, growing up, drama – they guarantee an unparalleled emotional engagement!

The show is really well-written, and it’s one of the rare shows where you won’t feel the slowing down in any of the seasons.

Oh, and remember this name – Brooke Davis. Enough said.

     2. Blue Mountain State

The Blue Mountain State is the shortest show on the list in terms of seasons – it got canceled after only three seasons and 39 episodes. BUT, it’s boys’ vision of college par excellence – the three protagonists come to a Midwestern college where they learn to navigate their football practice, girls, wild (and we mean wild!) parties, all the while still having classes to attend.

The show’s free-spirited dialogues feel very fresh and the situations and jokes are hilarious, although definitely not for the faint-hearted.

The boys will leave you laughing, leave you shocked, but definitely not bored – all the marks of a good show, right?

    3. American Horror Story

Here’s a little something for all you guys wanting a different kind of show. So you are sick with the high school/college life and want to be transported somewhere else. Incidentally, you also love a good horror. Seek no more! AHS is just amazing! (We can not oversell this.)

Each season is a different story, completely unrelated to the previous season, yet the actors remain the same. You will go through all the commonplaces of good horror stories: ghosts, clowns, supernatural locations, all with their own unique flavor and spin on these themes.

The tenth season will air in 2020, so you’ve got plenty of time to catch up.

    4. Supernatural

Ah, Supernatural! Who doesn’t love Sam and Dean? The show is currently in its final, 15th season. Yep, you read that right.

Supernatural follows two brothers, Sam and Dean, as their family story unravels and they get to fight all types of – you guessed it – supernatural creatures. The show is easily a unique atlas of world’s mythology – from werewolves, witches, demons and angels, demigods – everything you heard of will have made an appearance in the show (at least) once.

Packed with action, with well-developed characters and pleeenty of episodes to watch (each episode is 45 minutes long), you will easily fall in love with the SPN universe.

    5. New Girl

Finally, here’s a show that joins the ranks of legendary “Friends”, “Will & Grace”, and “How I met your mother”. Trust us on this one – this sitcom will leave you laughing and wanting more after each episode.

After a nasty breakup, Jess, a quirky and adorable woman, moves into a new apartment with three other guys. The guys follow her rebound and help her out as much as they can, though not necessarily approving all of her actions.

Comedy naturally arises in 7 seasons of this show, and you’ll love it! Seriously, just watch the trailer and you’re as good as hooked!
