Scholarships don’t have to be dull and based on your good grades. There are a variety of scholarships out there that will reward creative talents. Thanks to the increasing popularity of video sharing platforms like YouTube and Vimeo, students can now submit video-based scholarships. Although a written essay is not required, still, creating a scholarship video will take time and effort. So, if you’re interested in applying to scholarship video contests, check out the list below.

Dolman Law Group Video Essay Contest

The Dolman Law Group awards a $1,100 scholarship twice a year. Applicants interested in applying will need to submit a video discussing the main causes of pedestrian accidents and possible safety measurements to help decline pedestrian fatalities. The next upcoming deadline is September 29, 2017.

Maid Sailors Scholarship

The $500 Maid Sailors Scholarship is awarded to creative and inspiring students. To enter, submit a video explaining why education is the key to a brighter future, and how you can shape society. The deadline is September 30, 2017.

CJ Pony Parts Scholarship Video Contest

CJ Pony Parts is awarding one student each semester with a $500 scholarship. Students interested in applying must create a short video on one of five topics. The next deadline is October 15, 2017.

AfforableContractorWebsites.com Scholarship

The folks at AfforableContractorWebsites.com would like to help students get a higher education. They are offering a $1,000 scholarship to students pursuing a degree in restaurant/food service-related programs, as well as business, marketing or management. To apply, submit a 2-3 minute video as well as proof of enrollment. Deadline is October 20, 2017.

EscrowTech’s Scholarship for Single Parents

EscrowTech want to help people trying to balance education and family. They are offering a $1,000 scholarship to single parents that have a GPA of 3.0 of higher. Furthermore, students will need to post a video discussing potential changes software or technology will have in their field of study by graduation time. Deadline is November 15, 2017.

Target Tamers Student Scholarship

Target Tamers are awarding two students with a $500 scholarship each. If you are interested in applying, then create a video detailing what it would mean to you if you were awarded this scholarship. The deadline is November 21, 2017.

Beliz Law Firm Scholarship

The Beliz Law Firm has created a $500 scholarship to raise awareness on road safety. To apply, students will need to submit a video on the subject of bicycle safety. Deadline is November 28, 2017.

Yalu Jailbreak Scholarship

If you are a brilliant programmer, coder or hacker, you should apply for Yalu Jailbreak’s $2,000 scholarship. To apply, firstly, you will need to exploit the latest iOS firmware version and create a jailbreak for it. Then, create a video explaining your exploit. Students enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program may apply by November 30, 2017.

Shocpro American Football Scholarship

Shocpro.com created the American Football Scholarship and they will be awarding $1,000 to one student. To apply, submit a video on the top 5 football gear and equipment that every professional football player needs.  Also, you will need to submit your proof of enrollment. Deadline is December 7, 2017.

GirlswithNaturalHair Internet Marketing Scholarship

GirlswithNaturalHair is looking for students who want to share some of their interesting stories that can help others. Therefore, they will award a $1,000 scholarship to undergraduate or graduate students. The deadline to submit a video is December 12, 2017.

Harry Stone Memorial Scholarship

Law Offices of Elliott H. Stone created a $500 Harry Stone Memorial Scholarship. In order to apply, students should create a video explaining why it is important for courts to uphold tenant rights, and submit by December 15, 2017.
