SDRA Scholarship

The South Dakota Retailers Association scholarship program is designed to provide assistance to students studying for a career in retail and hospitality businesses, whether as an owner, manager, or employee. Applicants who have graduated from a South Dakota high school or have earned high school equivalency (such as a GED) in South Dakota or plan to attend post-secondary school in South Dakota are welcome to participate. In 2023, six scholarships were awarded in amounts ranging from $2,100 to $3,500. The number and dollar amount of scholarships awarded vary annually.

Each month, we conduct a random draw and award four students $1,000 each. In December, there will be two additional winners selected, who will also earn $1,000 each. Throughout the year, an annual total of $50,000 will be awarded to students!
