They must have an interest in teaching in low-income Georgia schools. They can win a $10,000 stipend for a Master\u2019s program at one of two participating universities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.georgiamining.org\/GMF-scholarship.php\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Georgia Mining Foundation Scholarship<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">High school seniors can apply to win up to $1,000. Applicants must be attending school in a county where the company maintains operations. They must reside in Georgia.\u00a0 They also must score a minimum of 1300 on the SAT\/19 on the ACT. Scholarships are from $4,000-$20,000. Applicants must have a 3.5 GPA or higher. They also must show leadership skills.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.georgiatrust.org\/resources\/grants-fellowships\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation Scholarships<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Two applicants can win $1,000 academic scholarships. Applicants must pursue a bachelor\u2019s or master\u2019s degree. They must study historic preservation, history, architecture, archeology, urban planning or related fields. They must attend in-state colleges. Two scholarships are for associate or bachelor\u2019s students pursuing RN licenses. One scholarship awards advanced practice nurses finishing their Master\u2019s of Science in Nursing. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a CCNE or ACEN accredited nursing school. They must have completed at least one year of study and have a minimum GPA of 2.5. They also must plan to practice nursing in Georgia after graduation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ngcf.org\/scholarships\/view-scholarships\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201c547\u201d John E. McGlamry Memorial Scholarship<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Graduating high school seniors may apply to win $1,000. They must be the children of active or retired Georgia State Troopers. They must plan to enroll in an accredited college or university. They must write an essay explaining what wisdom, justice and moderation means to them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gafutures.org\/hope-state-aid-programs\/scholarships-grants\/public-safety-memorial-grant\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Georgia Public Safety Memorial Grant<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/scholarshipowl.com\/blog\/apply-for-scholarships\/scholarships-for-children-of-veterans\/\">Children<\/a> of public safety officers or first responders killed\/disabled in the line of duty may apply. Applicants must attend a state college, university, or technical school. Participants receive a mentor who helps them stay on track.
