MyEffect<\/b><\/a>, a Canadian tech startup focused on tracking and measuring social impact, has partnered with <\/span>ScholarshipOwl<\/b> to award a $1,000 USD scholarship to a young changemaker taking action in their community this summer.<\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>MyEffect and ScholarshipOwl Civic Leader<\/strong> recognizes a young person actively working to improve their community. The scholarship is hosted on Scholarship.App, a platform powered by ScholarshipOwl.com that enables anyone or any company to launch their own scholarship.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cMyEffect\u2019s is committed to creating opportunities for the next generation of leaders to reach their full potential and meaningfully contribute to society,\u201d Kelly Lovell, founder and CEO of MyEffect explains. \u201cThis scholarship aligns with this mission, empowering students to become active citizens and equipping them to scale their impact\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

To be eligible, students must be an active member of the MyEffect community. Students can register for free by downloading the MyEffect App \u2014available in both <\/span>iOS<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>Android<\/span><\/a> devices \u2014 and receive a member ID so they can apply for the scholarship.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re so excited to have MyEffect launch this scholarship with our platform, Scholarship.App,\u201d said Sacha Nasan, head of business development and partnerships at ScholarshipOwl. \u201cThanks to MyEffect, students all across the US now have the opportunity to be recognized for their social impact and use the scholarship to further their education and potential.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
